The passing of a significant man.

Hello all,
As many of you may have heard, Pope Francis has died. He was not the leader of our church but he was a leader of the church, and one of significance. We make space for mourning.
The day after we celebrated Christ rising to new life, the holy father's life ended. I sometimes refer to Presbyterians as the Crossroads of Denominations; I know several of you found your way here after an upbringing in other denominations, including Catholicism. Some of you revere the pope, some are disgusted with the Catholic church as a whole, some are healing, and some are indifferent. Regardless of your view, I hope we can take a moment to uplift someone who also loved God deeply and who devoted their life to service.
May we witness to the resurrection with how we live our lives. May the Holy Spirit be our guide.
Regards,
Marcus
